I’ve been taking only ColdShowers for over 3 years. Here’s why —

It was August 2022.
I was into hot yoga.
I had my first child on the way.

My whole life I’ve wanted to create. As the son of two entrepreneurs, I watched my parent’s navigate the world on their terms. I had been successful in the corporate world (and had a brief stint creating an Amazon product), but wanted more.

So, (like the business genius I am), I decided building an email list was my ticket to entrepreneurial freedom.

Let’s go with the magic number: 1,000 subscribers.

And let’s up the stakes.
I’ll only take ColdShowers until I reach my goal… should be simple (Hah!)

What’s with the name…

Like I said, I was in a bit of a hot yoga craze, and cold was all the rage.
(This was peak Joe Rogan ‘cold plunge’ season)

I thought the name sounded cool and I already paid for the logo so I’m not changing it now!

If you stick around I can promise you this.

I’ll bring my authentic self to the page.

I’ve been writing for almost 3 years now. Much of it was sh** (please don’t go look back at my first 50 newsletters).

But something weird happened…

I found my voice. (yes, cliche, I know)
But really, I found it.
I started to like writing.
Then I started to really like it.. Now, I love it.
I would do it whether 1M people read my work or 0.

And I never stopped taking coldShowers

So I built a hell of a streak doing something that most would consider hard (Or at least uncomfortable).
I got good at building habits.
Developed excellent discipline and resolve.
And I’ve gone on to do lots of other hards things (like running 100-miles, for instance).

The ColdShower is my personal development journey. I share it with you in hopes that it will help you on yours.

Stick around if you’d like.
