I’m on a mission to put the “Personal” back into Personal Development
Shower thought🚿: Think and you die.
In the trees, it takes a split second to decide your fate.
Think — and you die.
(okay, maybe not die… but you will get hurt)
This past week, I’ve been in Steamboat Springs, Colorado — “Ski Town USA”.
Located northwest of the Continental Divide, Steamboat is known for its family friendly vibes, champagne powder, and trees. Lots and lots of trees.
When you step off the piste, you enter another world.
Trees, boulders, mounds of snow — everything in the winter woods is unforgiving.
It demands your attention. All of it.
Fade away for one second, and the consequences can be severe.
This feeling can be terrifying.
But, I see it as freeing.
Because once I relinquish my thoughts, the new world I enter is the present.
Where I can be one with my surroundings.
Take every twist and turn as it comes.
And most importantly, Enjoy the Ride.
THANK YOU for making it to the end!
